You might be wondering "how did we come up with the name EKLEKTIK PEACOCK?" As a child I have always hopped from one hobby to another. From one week of building a volcano out of card board, baking soda, vinegar, and food coloring, to knitting while watching Shirley Temple movies, writing books, making butter cookies, taking up photography, learning to play 4 different instruments all while wanting to travel to the moon. By the way my mom did take me... on a 100 mile journey to NASA. I abandoned  my homework just to be in the ceramic studio during my freshman year in collage, and grew up looking forward to spring to grow vegetables. Some people might not like that I change so often but I change like my Texas environment, I never know what is around the corner but when I find it I create it as long as it will allow me to be inspired. When the inspiration fades I let it go to create something new again. So to answer the question, my art is like a peacock's feathers that represent many patterns, colors and textures that are always striving to bring beauty and inspiration to others.
